US macroeconomic time series published by U.S. government sources (BLS, BEA, Federal Reserve Board, Treasury, Census and others), through the FRED API. POST JSON {"series": ["CPIAUCSL", "UNRATE"], "start": "2024-01-01", "end": "2026-09-01"} to /v1/tool, or GET /v1/macro?series=GDP,DGS10&start=2026-01-01. series: FRED series ids from U.S. government sources (up to 12) or aliases inflation, labor, unemployment, payrolls, gdp, rates; default CPI and unemployment since 2024-01-01. Series FRED carries for third-party owners (for example the S&P 500) are not served. The response is a JSON object with series (series_id, title, source, count, observations of date and value), notice, plus unknown_series and not_served when they apply. This product uses the FRED® API but is not endorsed or certified by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Live data, cached 6 hours.
