Hashed Text VectorsService

text-embeddings

Fixed-length vectors for text by feature hashing (not a trained language model): each word is hashed (MD5) into one of dim buckets with a +/- sign, and the vector is L2-normalised, so vectors reflect shared words, not meaning. POST JSON {"inputs": ["hello world", "good morning"], "dim": 64} to /v1/text (inputs: a string or up to 50 strings; dim 16-512, default 64); the response is a JSON object with embeddings, dim, count and method. Identical input and dim give identical vectors on every supplier.
