Word Overlap SimilarityService

semantic-similarity

Word-overlap similarity of two texts (not a trained model): the Jaccard index of their word sets, from 0 (no shared words) to 1 (same words), so texts that say the same thing in different words score low. POST JSON {"text_a": "the cat sat", "text_b": "a cat was sitting"} to /v1/semantic; the response is a JSON object with similarity, metric and threshold_note. Identical input gives identical output on every supplier.
