POST JSON {"cik": "0000320193", "tag": "Assets", "taxonomy": "us-gaap"} to /v1/sec (tag defaults to Assets, taxonomy to us-gaap); the response is a JSON object with cik, tag, label and series: the latest 8 reported values per unit, each with unit, end date, value, form, fiscal year and period. Data comes live from SEC's companyconcept API, so results change as new filings are published; suppliers querying at the same moment return the same values.
